Salary Range: $14,000 to $18,000
Benefits: Live in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on 190 acre property on the shores of Lake Wappapello, Missouri. Salary above is equivalent to rent of home and is compensated by living rent and utility free. Additional compensation for heavier work load or additional projects.
Job Description:
A. Routine camp maintenance
1. Mowing, weed eating and limb removal.
2. Conduct weekly inspections of facilities and secure facility when not in use.
3. Biweekly airing out cabins and cafeteria during warm season.
4. General cleaning.
B. Guest Relations
1. Making sure camp is ready for guests. This is done by following pre-arrival checklist.
2. Welcome/ Check-in guest and provide guidelines for their stay, as documented in arrival letter
Note, the Reservation process will be handled by another resource. For guests not paying by credit card, there will be some accounting responsibilities for the Caretaker.
3. Be available for guests if they have questions or problems arise. Make sure guests behave in safe and responsible manner. A process will be provided for handling of problems or unexpected issues.
4. Check guest out. Inspect facilities with guest to verify clean and no damage. Determine amount of deposit returned. Complete departure checklist.
C. Reporting – Weekly email reports of work done, time spent, guest issues/reports, and possible maintenance/cleaning issues. Off season reports to be monthly.
