Site Name: Johnsonburg Camp and Retreat Center / Camp Lackawanna Position Title: Lackawanna Summer Program Coordiator Position Type: Internship Location (city and state): Tunkhannock, PA / Blairstown, NJ Job Description:Have you ever wanted to run a summer camp program, but haven't had the opportunity? Johnsonburg is partnering with Camp Lackawanna in the beautiful Endless Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania to run a fun and faithful camp program for four weeks this summer. We're looking for someone to work with our recently un-retired on-site directors and the team at Johnsonburg HQ in New Jersey to help make this summer camp program amazing. You'll be working with and for multiple people who have been in a head-of-staff role at a camp before. We're making the way for you already, planning, scheduling, marketing, and registering kids–so you'll have plenty of support. But, you'll have plenty of responsibility too: you'll be the point person for this program, coordinating schedules, managing staff, and making sure the experience is fun, faithful, and safe. Details: June 12-July 23 minimum, June 5-August 6 preferred. $500/week salary, plus housing and meals. The candidate we're thinking of has been in a leadership role on a camp summer staff before; or, maybe they're a seminarian with youth experience. Maybe you don't exactly fit that, but you're a strong candidate with a comparable background–we'd like to talk.
