Job Description:
The Executive Director of Camping and Retreat Ministries is the onsite Director of Quinipet Camp and Retreat Center (a year-round facility in Shelter Island Heights, NY) and Kingswood Campsite (a seasonal campground in Hancock, NY). Camping and Retreat Ministries of the New York Annual Conference (CRM) provides a sacred space apart from the everyday world where all are welcomed to experience God’s creation. The goal of CRM is to foster Christian community and spiritual growth through day and overnight summer camp, retreats, and family camping, and works to develop and nurture the leaders of tomorrow. The Executive Director oversees staff and volunteers and works in partnership with the Camps Governing Board (CGB) to accomplish goals and create a vibrant future.
