PCCCA Membership for 2012

Now is the time to join or renew your membership in the Presbyterian Church Camp and Conference Association. This organization is working hard on your behalf. It is forging relationships, offering programs and providing resources that assist you in your ministry. Now is the time for you to stand with those who support our Presbyterian camps and conference centers. Take a look at the services provided by PCCCA and be sure to check out the member benefits it provides. Due to the special discounts you receive with membership, it may cost you more money if you don't join the association. Am I currently a member of PCCCA?

PCCCA does not receive funding from a denomination. The association's main source of funding is through the annual member dues contributed by individuals and by sites. Memberships expire at the end of each calendar year. Now is the time to join PCCCA or renew your membership online or by mail.

What does PCCCA provide for all Presbyterian camps and conference centers?

• Programs like the Annual Conference, the Connection Events for the different people on your staff (Program, Maintenance, Food Service and Guest Services), the Sustainable Pathways Events (held in cooperation with the United Methodist Church), and the Focus Event for those discerning a call to camp and conference ministry
• A searchable online directory at www.bookaretreat.com that allows visitors to access listings for Presbyterian camps and conference centers based on location and lodging needs.
• The Branches Online eNewsletter, which is distributed four times a year, includes articles on trends, program ideas and other areas of interest to camps and conference centers
• A page on the PCCCA website where Presbyterian camps and conferences centers can post year-round positions (part or full-time)
• A network of consultants who provide knowledgeable, affordable consulting services to Presbyterian camps and conference centers

What special benefits are only received by PCCCA members?

• Discounted rates on the services of the PCCCA Consultants Network
• Connection to a support network of camp and conference professionals from across the United States and Canada
• Organizational member sites can use the PCCCA logo and the special 2012 membership logo on their brochures and website
• Voice and vote at all association meetings
• Eligibility for election to the PCCCA Board of Directors

What are the different levels of PCCCA membership?

Organizational Membership ($275)

You may join at the 2011 rate until March 31st. After that date, the price will increase by $25.00

Camps and conference ministries affiliated with the Presbyterian Church may purchase an annual Organizational Membership Package which includes an Individual membership for one staff person, two Associate memberships for board/committee members and an Associate membership for the head of each of your governing bodies (i.e. Executive Presbyter for a presbytery site, Head of Staff for a one-church site, etc.). If you would like to add more staff members to your Organizational Membership, your first additional staff person is $100 and each additional staff member after that is only $50 per person.

Individual Membership ($250)

You may join at the 2011 rate until March 31st. After that date, the price will increase by $25.00

This membership is for staff people and for volunteers in a supervisory capacity with a camp, conference or retreat ministry.

Join or renew as an Individual Member for 2012 by or by

Associate Membership ($80)

You may join at the 2011 rate until March 31st. After that date, the price will increase by $5.00

This membership level is eligible to:

• Committee and board members of camp, conference or retreat ministries
• Volunteers related to camp, conference or retreat ministries who are not serving in a supervisory capacity
• Retired staff of camp, conference or retreat ministries
• Members of churches and governing bodies who support the mission, goals, and ministry of PCCCA
• Former members of PCCCA who have been selected for Lifetime Achievement by the Board and have been extended Emeritus Status in the organization (no annual dues are required)

Student Membership ($30)

You may join at the 2011 rate until March 31st. After that date, the price will increase by $5.00

This special rate is extended to full or part-time students in an undergraduate or graduate program.

Business Membership ($425)

Your business or organization has the opportunity to make important connections with Presbyterian camps and conference centers. If you have products and services that could support the ministries of these 150 sites in the United States and Canada, you will want to consider a membership that offers visibility through PCCCA’s enewsletters, website and Facebook page; use of the business member logo; and priority access and discounts on exhibit hall booths and sponsorship opportunities.
