Job Description:
General Responsibility: Oversee the booking and registration of groups and participants.
Specific Responsibilities:
-Answer phone calls and act as the first point of contact for groups/guests.
-Book and send contracts to retreat groups.
-Create and send group invoices.
-Maintain financial oversight of all related line items proposing budgets and adhering to the approved budgets.
-Manage registrations with Presbyterian/Ferncliff partner camps.
-Assist Program team with management of Ferncliff camper registrations.
-Manage and administer Ferncliff camper scholarship process.
-Establish short and long-term marketing strategies to continually expand the reach and impact of Ferncliff hospitality operations.
-Work with the COO to plan and implement marketing strategies to increase group rental business.
-Train and manage interns/volunteers/staff assigned to the hospitality department.
-Conduct a systematic procedure for evaluation of hospitality services with measurable outcomes. This includes sending evaluations after groups
leave.
-Create a system that promotes groups to book future retreats at Ferncliff.
-Keep current on the latest trends, technology, and best hospitality practices for camps, retreat centers and non-profits in general.
-Other duties as assigned.
